“Sisterhood is many things. It’s a warn smile on a cold and rainy day, a friendly hug, a cheerful hello… It’s all that a good and lasting friendship is, only better. It’s treasured. It’s sacred. It’s knowing that there will always be someone there for you. It’s dreams shared, and goals achieved. It’s counting on others and being counted on. It is real.”

No matter where we are in our life journeys, whether it be in the SDSU community or elsewhere in the world, KD will never be far from our minds or our hearts. The ideals set before us by our founders, will forever be “inculcated into our hearts and minds” as we strive for that which is “honorable, beautiful and highest”. The memories we create as college friends, will link us for a lifetime as sisters. This chapter of our lives in which we make the transition from girls to women will forever be with us because within this transformation, we became Kappa Deltas.
A Letter From the President
“Kappa Delta is an organization unlike any I have ever seen. We are a sisterhood and a group of women that will be there for each other for the rest of our lives. I found my home away from home at San Diego State among the most incredible women I’ve ever met. It is here that I can be myself, laugh all night with my best friends, raise thousands of dollars for amazing causes while growing as a leader and attending endless social events. Having the opportunity to lead a chapter of women I admire so much is the greatest experience and privilege I’ve ever had. These memories will stay with me for a lifetime and my sisters will be with me every step of the way. I am who I am today because of Kappa Delta and all of the beautiful women I can call my family.”
